Nancy Qian MHC-LP
Psychotherapist
Nancy grew up across different countries and cultures, and that experience has deeply shaped how she understands identity and relationships. She believes that we are made up of many layers — culture, race, gender, sexuality, religion, and more. Nancy strives to hold a collaborative and safe space for all identities to connect and interact. In this space, you can slow down, connect with yourself, and heal from experiences and stories that no longer serve you.
Nancy’s approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and intersectional. She believes therapy is a shared journey of two travelers along the path of life. In therapy, Nancy helps clients explore emotions, understand patterns, embrace strengths, and develop insights. Working with Nancy helps clients feel empowered as their most authentic selves.
Nancy is an East Asian, cisgender woman, who grew up in Shanghai, China, and Toronto, Canada. Before becoming a therapist, she studied journalism and used words, videos, and visual art to share minority groups’ voices. Nancy became a therapist to support the unheard voices and emotions in her community.
